Successful “Dumpling cooking” with a pan

Heat the pan over medium heat with a lid on it.
Heat the pan until drops of water become balls rolling around in the pan.

Make sure the pan is preheated well. Use oil because dumplings do not contain any fat.
Oil the pan well, because skins of homemade dumplings in particular, contain no fat.

Put dumplings in the pan.

Wait till dumplings become brownish, add 50 cc of water, bring the heat to low, and cover with the lid.

Cover with the lid for faster cooking.

Take the lid off when the water is gone, and bring to a crispy finish over a medium heat.

Do not touch the dumplings even if they stick to the pan.
They will come off nicely when they are completely cooked.
