Prepare rice, egg, other foods, and seasonings before cooking.
Preheat the pan over medium heat with the lid on it.
Heat the pan until drops of water become balls rolling around in the pan.
Pour in a beaten egg, and add rice and other recipes. Stir so as loosen them.
Add salt, pepper, and soy sauce to finish when the heat is distributed well.
* A good size pan for cooking 2 bowls of rice would have a diameter of 27 cm.
